Introduction to Airbrushing - 1/2 Day Beginners class

This popular, fun, one day (4 hr) long, one-on-one class will have you mastering the basics about how airbrushing is done and it will demystify the technical and mechanical nature of airbrushing. The goal of this class is to get you completely familiar with airbrushing so that you can go home and begin your ABCs excercises.

1 Week Airbrushing Class

This is a fun, one week long (five - eight hour days), one-on-one course that is essential for you if you are not able to airbrush on your own, problem free and unable to render even basic, clean lettering. This one week (5 eight hour sessions) long class will provide you the proper foundation that you need in order to be able to move on and advance.

One week is not a lot of time and it will go by very quickly because the lesson's are so easygoing and really fun, so the realistic goal for students to achieve in the short amount of time is to have you rendering lettering cleanly and precisely. After all, what is the point of teaching you how to render cool skulls or realistic flames or how to bodypaint FX if you are unable to airbrush your ABCs as well as a 5th grader.

2 Week Airbrushing Class

The second week begins where the first week left off. The goal of the second week is to have students render an attractive sunset or beach scene or lettering composition with a landscape. You will begin to use the lines and strokes and dots and fades in compositions such as the traditional beach scene or sunset, which are the the universal airbrush money making images and are comprised of all of the techniques learned in the first week.

Day by day you will progress farther and learn more, and practice more and try more tricks and techniques. You will practice on different surfaces with different paints and begin to focus on the type of airbrushing that interests you like t-shirt airbrushing or automotive airbrushing or bodypainting fo example.

3 Week Airbrushing Class

The first week's goal is to have you completely comfortable in the studio and with the studio's equipment and to understand what most of the items in the studio are, what they do and why. You will be able to render lettering cleanly and precisely and easily by the end of the week.

The second week is focused on strengthening your airbrushing skills and on teaching you tricks and techniques. You will begin working on color theories and learning about surfaces and using the right materials for the right surfaces, and much more.

The third week will really open your eyes to new ideas and possibilities and airbrushing concepts, like airbrushing products such as the clock on the left as one example. You will airbrush on metal and on canvas and focus on the type and style of airbrushing that you are interested in. You will begin to learn about how to produce jaw-dropping, heart popping, advanced airbrushed effects. The goal of this third week is to have you produce one or more portfolio pieces for you to take home.

The fourth week is where we can really get into all sorts of topics that were only briefly explained or practiced such as producing effects such as real fire and jaw dropping chrome and creating real feathers and hair. The goal of the fourth week is to continue producing portfolio pieces by using the airbushing technique that you're comfortable using and doing. This fourth wekk allows for teaching you about the business of airbrushing and how to make money with the airbrush, as well as about websites and marketing and more.
