1 Week Airbrushing Class
 This is a fun, one week long (five - eight hour days), one-on-one course that is essential for you if you are not able to airbrush on your own, problem free and unable to render even basic, clean lettering. This one week (5 eight hour sessions) long class will provide you the proper foundation that you need in order to be able to move on and advance.
One week is not a lot of time and it will go by very quickly because the lesson's are so easygoing and really fun, so the realistic goal for students to achieve in the short amount of time is to have each and every student rendering lettering cleanly and precisely. After all, what is the point of teaching you how to render cool skulls or realistic flames or how to bodypaint FX if you are unable to airbrush your ABCs as well as a 5th grader.
This first day is learning about and trying different types and models of: compressors, airbrushes, materials and paints; you will learn about organizing the setup/workspace, peripheral supplies, about using the proper materials and paints for the correct surfaces and most importantly, how they all work together and how to make them work for you.
The second day is mostly a hands-on course but there is also important theory which is taught and emphasized by use of hands-on examples. You will begin many fun airbrushing excercises, drills and projects that will have you airbrushing the neccessary repetoire strokes, dots and fades and washes and lines resulting in basic lettering.
The rest of the week has you working on the airbrush artist's repetoire of strokes, dots and fades and washes and lines via various fun excercises in order to produce more advanced lettering and hopefully the traditional beach scene sunset scene.
- I provide the airbrushes, paints, mediums, tools and compressors, students need only bring work clothes and footwear that can get painted on, their payment and enthusiasm.
- Students must arrange their own accomodations, meals and transportation.
- Lessons are taught in a relaxed, professional, one on one setting in a fully equipped, professional airbrushing / illustration studio.
- We are easy to get to as TTC (Public transit) and parking is available nearby.
- Lessons and consultations are by reservation only. Please do not just drop by as we will likely be busy with another student and therefore will be unable to give you the time you deserve.
